  1. Ok you always got to top me!! I matters not because I don't even have to try at this point because, as you wrote, the contest is already over.

  2. 2012, 2012! I've changed it. I'm having trouble with the date. It just sounds so futuristic. And, you better not be able to get all the answers. Greg and I tried too hard to find them.

  3. I'm not sure of the actual correct answers, but I'll keep working at them until I get them right! I desperately want a dorky prize!!

    1)Grandpa Walitner's war
2)Dr. Sadler should answer this one.
3)A special type of wheel or starring a airborne Ferrari.
4)As of 7/15/12 it would have lived half as long as me.
5)After that ride it probably thought it's name was Akial.
6)That ones a little tricky to answer.
7)Rhymes with how stuffy the air might be on the other side of the trap door.
8)Same as Pokie and it's "real" name was after a brand of peanut butter.
9)It's name, place and job were synonymous with candid, dispatch sales location and collaborator.
    10)Same as Dad's Springer
11)It's what I should be doing towards the river with the two dogs here instead of attempting clever answers to your questions.

  4. I have an excuse. I'm retired! You are are fully employed and so's your wife. Amazingly creative. How long did that take you??

Not saying they are right or wrong quite yet in case someone wants to challenge answers - but you certainly won 5 points for 1st in and I'll throw in an additional 5 for creativity.

Fifteen points will be awarded to any contestant who finds and corrects an error for each error (if there are any).

  5. What happened to question:

    21) What super dog currently lives in SoCal with it's educator humans.

  6. We may be fully employed, but we have no life beyond. Awarding points to those that find errors of mine is in tremendously poor taste.

  7. 1. WWI
    2. Of course a Redbone Coonhound!
    3. Ferris Bueller's Day Off.
    4. 29 years 5 months
    5. Laika--which stinks since she died up there
    6. Nixon. Dog was also famous for saying "I am not a biscuit crook!"
    7. Fluffy. Nice fluffy. don't eat the children
    8. Asta was a wired hair terrier
    9. Frank had a newstand with a REALLY weird looking human or something...
10 Max, so of course it was a goooood dog.
    11. Walkin' the dog
    12. Zorba the English Mastiff. However the real longest dog 203.8 meters but is of the type only served in a bun.
    13. Adventures of the Masked Phantom
    14. Golden Retriever
    15. Charley
    16. Krypto
    17. Bo
    18. BTTF! Back to the Future. However, it is sad to note that Einstein was later eaten by a T-Rex when Doc Brown took a trip back to the Jurassic period--as was the car and Doc.
    19. Lunch with Soupy Sales. Which I've NEVER heard of.
    20. Mars Attacks, though a far better movie with a kind of head swapping Jack Russel was "The Mask."

Of course, the true challenge would have been all about Redbone Coonhounds!!! Though I suppose 20 questions with the same answer would be not so challenging.....

  8. I take exception to one of Dr. Sadler's answers and will present indisputable evidence at the appropriate time.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Quite right. Due to the elegant nobility of the breed, I should have had it all in caps. So, the answer to number 2 should be: REDBONE COONHOUND!!!

  10. With the extent of Dorky prizes at stake, I'm being advised not to debate the possible error in question. However, I do plan an aggressive campaign
to achieve the ultimate in Dorkness award.

    ReplyDelete
  11. I noticed the aggressiveness in your suggestion to include question 21. Talk about shameless brown-nosing.

    ReplyDelete
  12. What are the prizes??? Randy, you'd better win for Billy and Momo!

    ReplyDelete
  13. The prizes are a secret until the contest closes. That's because no one would enter if they realized that they didn't want the awards - due to the dorky factor. (New Rule: Once submitted, entries cannot be withdrawn to get out of the following - ) Henry does expect the awards to to displayed in a place of honor.

  14. Randy #2 was not the answer in question.
    Sue,
AKA Henry's Human, I can't believe you think of it as shameless brown-nosing. I mean it is. I just can't believe that you'd accuse me of it!

  15. Although I know I must concede to Baby Doc since he actually, but without creativity, answered almost all the questions correctly, I do however sit before you asking that a fair and impartial panel review the rules of this contest. I take exception to Dr.Sadler’s answer to #17 and bring into evidence the following:

#1)What type of dog was in War Games? There is no mention of "the movie".
#2) If we are talking about Mathews movie, it was actually WarGames with no space.
#3)Bo could very well be referring to the Obama family pet. Not to mention “Bo” isn’t a “type” of pet to begin with.
#4)Hunter was embarrassed that his breed would be mentioned more than Coonhound.
#5)A Down Under Doggie Wrangler or Australian Cattle Dog, was featured in another "War Games".
#6)Even though we knew that the author was after the correct answer of: The grandest dog ever” according to Hunter. We felt since it wasn’t specified as to the movie” WarGames” we were able to pursue other avenues.

We would agree, if the Author concurs, to relinquish 1 point to the individual(s) who names the type of War Games the Australian Cattle Dog participated in, but we want our points for question #17.

I hereby place my answer and self at the mercy of the Most Distinguished, Learned, Quite Good Looking members of the Judging Panel.
