Explain to me how a dog can be adopted as a pup and then left behind when the family moves - in the winter no less - and without care. Daisy Mae is now Henry's new cousin. Her owners left her behind.
As it happens, Daisy Mae is a most lucky pup! She fell into the hands of Roger and Karrie who live on the Toutle River near Mt. St. Helens. Daisy is still feeling pretty hyper and disoriented, but when she settles down she will realize she has discovered her gold mine. Talk about two softies! This is one lucky pooch.
Miss Daisy has now been chipped so she will find her way home no matter what. She has her shots - and has an appointment next week to go in for surgery. Shhh. She has not heard the down side of responsible adoption.
Roger says that Daisy Mae has a thing for the fireplace. I'm not sure what that means, but she certainly looks large enough to block the heat output very efficiently.
Our loss is their gain. Oh wait, that's backwards. She is currently a hand full, but she has been abandoned and moved around a bunch lately. It shouldn't take too long for her to have us trained up.
ReplyDeleteI don't remember. Whose contact number is on that chip?
ReplyDeleteWell, Let's just say they'll be calling someone on the West coast, just not the NW West coast.
ReplyDeleteI don't like the way she's always staring at that fireplace. Best keep her away from matches!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHenry is distressed that Daisy Mae looks more studly than he does, so he chose a girlie-thing for Daisy to wear. Its in the mail. Henry hopes it fits.
ReplyDeleteShe's a cutie! She can do whatever she wants to do--just like Momo.
