Summer Preparations

Removing evil water.
The hiking boots and life-jacket are ordered.  We are almost ready for summer!

Henry has been great about taking me walking - but the weather is heating up, and it will soon be time to attempt the booties!  We don't want burnt puppy paws. 

However .... just getting his leash hooked up is a challenge.  He does get pretty excited about his walk.  Can you envision putting those four shoes on?  I can see one and maybe two.  Suggestions are welcome - but please, nothing involving duct tape please.

We'll be taking our second trip to the lake with Henry.  He did go for a swim last summer - but I think he might have more fun with a little lift - ah, my buoyant beauty.

    We don't know if we could walk with shoes on. In summer, we walk on grass, dirt, or go very early in the morning or when the sun makes big shadows on the hot road.

      Henry is going to work on his mom to get her going earlier! Maybe if a walk to the coffee place is promised - that should get her going!

    It worked! 1 hour 20 minutes around the hill to The Coffee Bean and then around uptown and on the college campus for a great walk. Thank you scotsmad!!! Now if I can just get her to do it everyday I will be a very happy puppy. The things doggies have to do to keep their humans up to the mark!
