Power Sleeping Buddy

This one is the truth. No Ai here!

Here is my sweet old boy after a bit of a rainy grubby day with outside visits. This is his cozy preferred inside spot. At night Henry does his best to take up the majority of our bed. Henry sneaks in and stretches out side to side while his peeps are brushing their teeth.

Will he make room for his folks? It is a very large bed. The answer is consistently “no”. It is amazing how tough it is to move that sleeping (or pretending sleep) body.

The truth? He is a very snuggly sleeping partner. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Cowboy Henry Rides Again

Yes, Henry is dreaming again!

This Ai dream is taking him back in time to the late 1800’s. He is roughing it out in a saloon  …  which is interesting since he only drinks out of his favorite bowl located on the bathroom floor. He refuses both the kitchen and TV room bowls.

Henry is imagining that he is having fun. My sweet pup is getting too old to be out and about much, so I’m having fun taking him on his very unlikely trips.

Someplace Warm and Dry and Sunny!

My pup had a pre Christmas dream.  Henry asked his Ai friend if he could escape the atmospheric river hitting northern Washington this winter.  Many roads are out and it’s going to take months to get them open again.  At flood crest, many houses are filled halfway to the second story in areas around the Skagit river. Although it has not hit us - we are way above the flood level - Henry feels for his doggy pals.   In his old dog dreams he is out zooming around in the 1982 14 foot Bayliner Capri. Life is good! It’s all under control.

Shaping Up

Although Henry’s little stubby legs can pump when necessary, that has not been his favorite thing for several years now.

With a little Ai help, Henry has committed himself to gym exercise. We’ll see where  that goes. His peeps are joining him in this adventure.

Do you see the desperate look in his eyes? It’s very similar to the look in mine as I pass through those gym doors. It’s not nature of course - he isn’t genetically related - but I’ve had a nurture effect apparently.

Henry - Bonding with Ai

Henry is retired now - still a puppy for a few minutes every day, but the word “walk” does not always have that same magical effect on him.   Sometimes he just glances up from his cozy bed and frowns.  Our boy is now bonding with Ai to create his desired daytime pleasures.
