The Trip - Day One

Final we are off on our adventure. Henry has already proved himself useful! He made us stop for a pottie break only to discover our deferred door maintenance probably should not have waited until after the trip.

The door was open! The chaos within was threatening to become freeway carpeting. It appears we only lost one curtain rod - which is great considering. Anyhow, Henry's timing was wonderful!

Don't bother him. He is having a thank you treat.

  3. Get the little bugger up here and into the shop. I'll bet you we can fix it right and get you back on the road in style.

    2. I did just now find an article with step by step instructions on how a guy did separate the inner and outer skins of the door and make a new inner frame of aluminum. I'll email it to you. There may be less intrusive fixes though.

  5. Well, sure you betcha, duct tape solves the problem in the NW and Alaska, but we're talking a SoCal home ported little Burro. I guess if it was the paisley version it would be OK.
